Aimed at providing the people of Sri Lanka with food free of toxins or chemicals, “Seth-Suwa Medura” the Safe Food Outlet launched by the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) together with the Sri Sambodhi Viharaya, Colombo – 07, was declared open by the President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Sambodhi Viharaya on Sunday (December 29). The President also launched the www.healthysrilanka.lk a website by the GMOA, to educate the general public regarding food safety. (Pic by Chandana Perera)
