Chandrasiri starts second term...

Major General (Retd) G.A. Chandrasiri, who was reappointed as the Governor of the Northern Province, officially assumed duties today (21) at the Governor’s Office in Jaffna. Chandrasiri was reappointed to the post by President Mahinda Rajapksa after his initial 5-year term (since 2009) came to an end on July 11.
