President opens ‘Free Media Centre’

President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (09) opened the ‘Free Media Centre’ which would act as the propaganda arm of the United Peoples’ Freedom Alliance (UPFA) at the upcoming local government elections.

The Centre has been established at No 65, Ananda Rajakaruna Mawatha, Colombo 10.
President Sirisena also launched the website (nidahasyugayak.com).

Ministers Susil Premajayantha, S.B. Dissanayake, A.H.M. Fowzie, Mahinda Amaraweera, Chandima Weerakkody, Thilanga Sumathipala, Anurada Jayaratne and SLFP members were present at the launch.
