Strong winds hit Ampara...

Heavy rainfall accompanies by strong gusts of winds experienced in the Ampara District had caused damages to around 136 houses within six divisional secretariat divisions in the district last evening (17). Ada Derana reporters said that the winds had also caused trees to fall across roads and knocked down electricity polls, disrupting power supply to several areas. Pic By - Wasantha Chandrapala
