Transporting ballot boxes for Presidential Election…

Transporting ballot boxes of the 8th Presidential Election of Sri Lanka is currently underway across the island. Ada Derana reporters have captured the ongoing process at Ampara, Hatton, Chawalakadai, Hambantota, Nuwara Eliya, and Vavuniya areas.

Accordingly, district selection officers are transporting ballot boxes to polling stations under special security provided by the Police.

Voting for the election will take place from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm tomorrow (16).
