Former President of Sri Lanka and current Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa celebrates his 74th birthday today (18).
An alms-giving was carried out at Abayarama Temple early this morning in view of his birthday.
Rajapaksa is celebrating his birthday as his younger brother takes oath as the 7th Executive President of Sri Lanka.
The official results of the Presidential Election 2019 were released yesterday, in which Gotabaya Rajapaksa secured an epic victory with a record number of over 6.9 million votes.
