SC rejects bail for Sumana Thero

The Supreme Court today rejected bail for Uwathenna Sumana Thero who was arrested for his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to topple the government. The Supreme Court issued this order when the Fundamental Rights petition filed by the Thero was taken up.
In the FR petition Sumana Thero stated that his arrest and detention was illegal.
