White flag case to resume today

October 4, 2010   09:52 am

The hearing of the court case against former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka regarding the ‘White Flag’ statement made by him is scheduled to recommence today. The case will be brought forward before a three member High Court Bench Panel headed by Judge Deepali Wijesundara.

The case was postponed on two occasions last week due to Sarath Fonseka being ill and unable to take part in court proceedings. The first witness of the White Flag case, Fredrica Janz was ordered to be present in court today when the hearing resumed in order to give her testimony.
