Some 250 supporters from Kelaniya along with Gampaha District Parliamentarian Mervin Silva dashed coconuts at the Munneswaram temple this morning invoking divine blessings for justice to prevail.

Parliamentarian and former deputy Minister Mervin Silva told the media that they resorted to this action to justify the Court martial verdict on former Army commander Sarath Fonseka.

“We know the verdict is correct. So we are invoking divine blessings for justice to prevail,” said Mr. Silva.
