While leaving the Colombo High Court this morning, former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka told the media that he along with others imprisoned by the government are prepared to break out of prison and protect the people.

“The pattern of imprisonment will continue, similar to Ranjan Ramanayake being arrested today. There will be hundreds more to come to jail. Together we are prepared to break out from the prison to protect the masses. Once we come out will provide protection and freedom to the people,” said a defiant Sarath Fonseka while leaving courts after attending the ‘white flag statement’ case.
