S. Vijayakumaran passes away

General Secretary of the Upcountry People’s Front, S. Vijayakumaran has passed away today morning due to a sudden heart attack, Ada Derana reporter said. It is reported that the 55 year old politician had passed away while being rushed to the hospital.
The body of the deceased has currently been placed at the Dikoya District Hospital. S. Vijayakumaran is one of the founding members of the Upcountry People’s Front.
