India invites Speaker Chamal

The Indian Parliament, the Lok Sabha has extended an invitation to Sri Lanka Parliament Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa. The invitation was handed over to the Speaker by Indian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka Ashok K. Kantha yesterday.

 

 

The invitation was by Chairman of the Indian Rajya Sabha Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Speaker Meira Kumar. Chamal Rajapaksa has accepted the invitation and a visit is to be arranged soon, the Indian High Commission in Colombosaid.
