Two more faculties closed in Peradeniya Uni

The Arts Faculty and the Agriculture Faculty of the Peradeniya University have been indefinitely closed from today. Therefore the students of the said faculties have been notified to evacuate their hostels by 4 pm today, the university’s Vice Chancellor Professor Sarath Abeykoon told Ada Derana.
The Science and Engineering Faculties of the University of Peradeniya were also temporarily closed recently (21 October) as decided by the administration. It has been stated that reason for the shutting down is due to the incident where several Peradeniya University students had been assaulted by an unidentified group recently.
