AUDIO: : Lunch provided for 15,000 displaced

Lunch has been provided for over 15,000 persons who have been displaced due to flooding, Minister of Construction and Housing Wimal Weerawansa told Ada Derana. He added that every action that can be taken to alleviate the situation is being done.

 

Weerawansa added that due to many public places being submerged alternative places are being sectioned off to house the displaced if rains and flooding continues into the night.
