Children born on President B’day to be ‘gifted’

The Health Ministry is to implement a new program in which every child, born on November 18th in the future will be presented with special gifts and rewards. Children born on that day will be rewarded due to 18th November being the birth day of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
 

It has been reported that prizes will also be given to those born on 18 November this year (2010) under the new program which has been titled as ‘Mihimeth Suwaduru Thilina Pradanaya’.


Therefore each child is scheduled to be gifted a set of prizes worth over Rs.7, 500.
