The forensic team excavating the site where the LTTE is alleged to have mass buried government troops killed by them today found human bones, ash and a few bullets, Police spokesman SP Prishanth Jayakodi told Ada Derana.

SP Jayakodi stated that the evidence has been forwarded to the TID for further investigations.

However PTI today reported that Contrary to suspicions, Sri Lankan investigators hardly found any evidence as they carried out digging of the alleged mass grave. Only a few pieces of clothes and some empty bullets were found from the site, PTI quoting a military official reported.
