Lankan maid’s death in Jordan suspicious, says family members

The family members of a Sri Lankan house maid, who had committed suicide by jumping off a 7 storey building in Jordan, have complained to the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau that her death is highly suspicious.


The 31 year old woman a resident of Mahenagama in Warakagoda had passed away around two weeks back. Jordanian authorities had claimed that the maid had committed suicide by jumping off a 7 storey building.
