Krishna calls on President

The Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the President’s house a short while ago, The Govt. Information Department said. Krishna is on a three-day visit during which India is expected to push for the devolution of powers and renew a $1.7 billion-pledge in the form of loans and aid for development of the war-ravaged northern Sri Lanka.
