A Resettlement Ministry DC under investigation

Police have begun investigations regarding a District Coordinator of the Resettlement Ministry, who had cheated over 15 people for money by promising them employment in the Power and Energy Ministry.


The suspect in question is said to have worked as the Ministry of Resettlement, District Coordinator in Vavuniya. It has been reported that he had fraudulently taken Rs.25, 000 from each person, mostly residents of Vavuniya, through a bank account.


Acting on a complaint received in this regard the Vavuniya police have begun investigations in order to apprehend the suspect.
