Electricity disrupted due to tripping of main line

Electricity has been disrupted in many parts of the island due to the tripping of the main transmission line from Kotmale to Biyagama at around 2.45pm, Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board Vidya Amarapala said.
The CEB are conducting an investigation into the power outage that occurred simultaneously today (28 November), he added.
