MPs get stern warning from Speaker

Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa today strongly warned both government and opposition MPs, not to interfere with Parliament proceedings with their behavior. The Speaker specifically warned government MP A.H.M. Aswar not to interfere or else he would be removed from the Parliament premises.


UNP member Dr. Jayalath Jayawardana made a special statement to Parliament today (December 03) during which the commotion of both government and opposition Parliamentarians had disturbed his speech.
