Parts of Colombo flooded again

Armour Street, Thunmulla Junction and several areas in the Baseline road have been flooded due to showers, Police spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakody said. The area opposite the Kirulapana police station is also reported to be under water.


However vehicles traveling in the mentioned areas except Thunmulla have not been affected due to the water level, he said. Currently only heavy vehicles are traveling through Thunmulla, the spokesman mentioned.
