Liam Fox to deliver Kadirgamar Memorial Lecture as scheduled

The UK Defence Secretary Dr. Liam Fox is scheduled to deliver the Lakshman Kadirgamar Memorial Lecture on December 18, widow of the Late Foreign Minister confirmed to Ada Derana. This visit comes despite alleged tension between the two countries following the cancellation of the Oxford speech of President Rajapaksa.
Sri Lankan External Affairs Minister G.L. Peiris is to preside over the prestigious event.
