SLTB introduces new complaints hotline

The Sri Lanka Transport Board (CTB) has introduced a new special telephone number for the public to forward complaints regarding the problems faced in the public bus service. Complaints can be forwarded to 011-7 555 555, the government info department reports.


Any complaints on the weaknesses of the bus service, reckless actions by bus drivers, misdemeanor of bus conductors etc; can be reported to the above mentioned number.


The CTB also states that complaints relating to the siphoning of fuel, removing of spare parts and other such fraudulent activities could also be made on this number.
