Large number of students fail A/L exams

Around 38 percent of students who sat for the A-Level examinations in August have failed while around 10 percent have failed all their subjects according to the Examinations Department.

 

Out of 230,273 students who sat for the examinations 142,381 students passed while 4384 received ‘A’ Grade passes in all three subjects. The Examinations Department revealed that 87,892 students failed the examination while 23,420 failed all of their subjects.
