CNN announces app for AppStore

CNN announced today that its CNN Application will be available worldwide for the iPad on the AppStore while the app for iPhone and iPod touch in the U.S. will be available for free.

 

In a press statement CNN revealed that the iPad app will provide an immersive and visual news experience that takes advantage of the iPad’s multi-touch interface. CNN will simultaneously release an update which will enable livebreaking news video on the international version.

 

Furthermore, the app will also contain a user comment feature which will run alongside content on the screen while users can share text stories, images and videos from the app via email, facebook and twitter.
