The Democratic People’s Front have condemned the cabinet decision to repeal the tamil version of the National Anthem as it’s an insult to the Tamil people, Secretary of the DPF Dr. Nalliah Kumaraguruparan said.

Talking to Ada Derana from Beijing, China Dr. Kumaraguruparan said that the Tamil people of Sri Lanka should unite and ask the government for a satisfactory answer to why the tamil version of the Anthem has been repealed.

He added that in a time in which the government should be looking to reconciliation and rehabilitation the government through this action has insulted the Tamil people.
