Rs.1200 million spent on ‘Maga Neguma’

Over 1,200 million rupees have been spent under ‘Maga Neguma’, the island wide rural infrastructure development program. 534 kilometers of roads have been reconstructed through the program, the financial report of the Finance Ministry pointed out.
The number of families that have profited under this exceeds 38,000. The report also states that a large number of road development projects have been launched in Gampaha, Kurunegala, Hambantota and Kalutara Districts.
