Special bus service for Sri Pada pilgrims

An additional fleet of 20 busses operating from Hatton to Nallathanni have been deployed to transport pilgrims as the Sri Pada season began yesterday, the Sri Lanka Transport Board announced.

 

The services will operate in collaboration with the train services while additional bus services have also been arranged to originate from the main cities throughout the island. 

Over 25,000 devotees were said to have visited Adam’s Peak yesterday.
