Three dead and two missing after boat accident in Welikanda

Three people died and two went missing in the Mahasen Wewa in Welikanda, Pollonnaruwa today after their boat had toppled, Welikanda Police said. The Welikanda Hospital reported that three female bodies have been received following the incident.

Police revealed that the victims were a group of local tourists.
