Another 100 rehabilitated LTTE members released

One hundred rehabilitated LTTE cadres were released and handed over to their parents today (December 25). It has been reported that these former Rebel Tigers had been released in celebration of Christmas Day.


A brief function was held at the Vavuniya Cultural Center to hand them over back to their parents and relatives.


The rehabilitated LTTE members were also presented with certificates according to their completed courses at today’s event, Ada Derana correspondent said.
