The Maldives Centre for Community Health and Disease Control (CCHDC) has not advised people against travelling to Sri Lanka due to the rise in reported cases of swine flu but has only issued a warning for travellers to be cautious when visiting the country, CCHDC officials told Maldivian Media.

The CCHDC advised any travellers especially pregnant women, children and the elderly to maintain basic hygiene measures and seek medical advice if any symptoms arise.
