No more transactions between CTB bus operators and Private bus operators

December 29, 2010   03:55 pm

The government has banned any transactions between CTB bus operators and private bus operators as CTB bus drivers and conductors are known to sell their bus turns to the private busses, Transport Minister Kumara Welgama said.

He added that any such transactions should be reported to him while stating that nearly 25% of the CTB’s earnings are being lost through these external transactions.
