LG amendment bill debated in Parliament

The Local Government Election Amendment Bill was presented and taken up for debate in parliament today (January 4). Local Government and Provincial Council Minister A.L.M. Athaullah presented the bill in Parliament.
The UNP yesterday requested the government to postpone the presentation of the bill in Parliament.
