Crime in the North has to be curbed - Douglas Devananda

Cabinet Minister Douglas Devananda asked the government today (January 4) in parliament to take action against criminals in the North undertaking in kidnappings, murders and robberies who have threatened the civil life of the people.

 

He added that crime rates had increased following the war and that the government needed to ensure that these crimes were investigated and that those who are involved in them be brought to justice.
