Muthaliph Farook takes oath

Muthaliph Farook took oaths as an MP a short while ago filling the vacancy created by late SLMC MP Noordeen Mazoor. Farook polled the next highest preferential votes in the electoral list of Vanni district.

 

Farook filled the vacancy created in Parliament with the demise of Noordeen Mashoor MP who contested the last parliamentary general Election under the UNP.The new Parliamentarian is a resident of Musali in the Mannar district.
