EXCLUSIVE: Sri Lanka can become next big BPO destination

Sri Lanka has the potential to become a major BPO destination if the necessary encouragement is given towards investment, infrastructure and upcoming companies, Chief Executive of the Lanka BPO Academy Yasas Vishuddhi Abeywickrama told Ada Derana in an exclusive interview.

 

He stated that Sri Lanka now offers a global BPO certification through the Lanka BPO Academy in the midst of challenges regarding the availability of resources within the country pertaining to the BPO sector.
