Private bus owners back out of token strike

The proposed token strike for private bus operators which was to be held tomorrow has been called off following a positive response from the government at a meeting held between the relevant parties today, President of the Private Bus Owners Association Gemunu Wijeyratne told Ada Derana.

He added that the bus operators have decided to hold back the token strike for another three weeks as the response they received at the meeting today was favourable.
