10 LTTE members arrested in Switzerland

Swiss prosecutors say 10 members of the LTTE have been arrested in Switzerland. Prosecutors said Tuesday the arrests were made during searches of 23 premises across the alpine country.
Authorities said they are suspected of money laundering and membership of a criminal organization.
Officials said they believe the suspects for years forced Sri Lankans abroad to contribute several million Swiss francs (dollars) to the Tamil Tiger organization.
