Weather conditions leave people of the North unprotected

The citizens of the Northern Province and University students have been exposed to a compromising situation due to prevailing weather conditions, Convenor of the Inter-University Students Federation, Udul Premaratne said.

He requested the government to take speedy action against the growing crime rates in the North while providing some assistance to the students who have been affected by the rains.
