Postal vote application deadline extended to Jan 27

The deadline for sending the postal vote applications has been extended from January 16 to January 27, the Elections Commissioner, Dayananda Dissanayake told Ada Derana today. He stated earlier that the ten day period afforded for the applications was not long enough which in turn lead to the extension.
