Medicine required for flood victims; Ada Derana takes initiative

Flood victims in Sri Lanka are in dire need of certain medicines while Ada Derana has taken the initiative to collect and distribute the essentials  and requests public assistance in donating the following medicines to the affected.

 

Antibiotics

- Co Amoxyclav -- Syrup and Tablets

 

NSAID’s

- Paracetamol  -- Syrup and Tablets

- Mefenemic Acid

- Diclofenac Sodium

 

For Women

- Norethisterone (SPC) 5 mg

 

For Asthmatics

- Salbutamol -- Syrup

- Theophyllin -- Syrup

- Deriphyllin (SR) 150 mg

- DP Halers

- Beclomethasone (DP caps) 200 & 400 Micrograms

- Asthalin (DP caps0 200 & 400 Micrograms

 

Skin infections

- Candid B (Local application cream)

- Beclasone N & C

 

Eye infections

- Gentamicin eye drops

- Ciplox eye drops

 

Antacids

- Omeprazole

- Famotidine

 

Multivitamins

- Zincovit

- Ferup

 

Basic rations required

- Sarongs

- Bedsheets (single)

- Towels

- Sanitary pads (Basic type, not pasting/sticking type)

- Soap (Preferably lifebuoy or sunlight which can be used for for any purpose)

- Chlorine (20 barrels)

- Toothpaste
