Water cut in certain areas of Colombo tomorrow

Due to a breakdown of the main pipeline from the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant to Colombo certain areas will experience a water cut tomorrow (January 16) from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced.
Residents in areas in Central Colombo and areas including Fort, Grandpass, Thotalanga, Mahawatta, Slave Island, Mattakkuliya, Kotahena, Aluth Mawatha, Maha Kumarage Mawatha and Vivekananda kanda have been advised to store enough water for the 16 hour water cut.
