UPFA to submit LG nominations next week

The United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) will hand over its nominations for the upcoming Local Government elections on January 26 or 27, UPFA General Secretary Susil Premajayantha told Ada Derana today.
He stated that the party is currently deciding on the number of candidates that will be designated to the different local government institutions that are being contested.
The final documents will be prepared by Friday, January 21 while the nominations will be signed the following day.
