Six surrender, TMVP PC member not arrested - Police

Six persons have surrendered over the allegedly threatening the Aryampathy Divisional Secretary, SSP I.M. Karunarathne told Ada Derana. However DIG Karunarathne claimed that TMVP PC Member P. Prashanthan was not among those surrendered and denied reports that he was arrested.

However when contacted by Ada Derana P. Prashanthan stated that he was arrested by police and was currently at the Kathankudi police station and an inquiry was being held.
