VIDEO: One dead 21 injured in Anuradhapura Prison shootout

One
person died and twenty one have been injured after a shooting broke out at the
Anuradhapura prison today while the injured have been rushed to hospital, Anuradhapura Hospital Director told Ada Derana.
Earlier
today a group of prisoners at the Anuradhapura prison took to a protest over the
granting of their bail before violent scenes erupted a short while ago. The Anuradhapura Hospital Director said that the injured are still being brought in while he added that apart from gunshot wounds some of the injured had been assaulted too.
