VIDEO: Govt. has greatly injured democracy in the country - Tilvin

The government, which has not been able to deliver on any of the promises it has made to the people, has greatly injured democracy in the country where it has even managed to demean the Courts, General Secretary of the JVP, Tilvin Silva said today.

Speaking at a media briefing in Colombo, he requested the public to consider the upcoming local government elections to be a giant step towards social change and to act accordingly.
