A Sri Lankan was arrested for possessing a forged passport at the Sanganer airport in Jaipur, India as he was attempting to board a London-bound flight, officials told Indian media.

The passenger, Mathiyalan Muthu had attached his photograph to a different passport and had attempted to board a London-bound flight on Oman Air’s flight WY-272, police had revealed. Muthu had later confessed that he had sneaked into India from Sri Lanka four years ago and planned to get into the UK from there.
