January 29, 2011: Director Producer Dayal Padmanabhan’s reputation as a very efficient filmmaker was already known far and wide. We got another proof of that when he finished shooting the talkie part of his latest flick Yogaraja in twenty days instead of the scheduled 25 days. He attributes the smooth functioning of the film unit and the completion of the film on Chakrapani, the financer of Yogaraja.

According to reports, the dubbing of Yogaraja is also complete. Dayal is now pre-occupied by post production. In a bid to make the film more visually appealing, he has decided to shoot two song sequences in the picturesque Sri Lanka. He has planned to fly the lead pair of Yogaraja, Neetu and Naveen Krishna, to Sri Lanka soon. The songs will be shot in the last 10 days schedule of the film. The music of Yogaraja has been scored by Milind Dharma. He said that the beautiful lyrics have made his songs more soulful.

Dayal is very satisfied with the performance of his lead pair. He said that he zeroed in on Neetu because she is a strong performer. She completed ninety percent of the film in just one take. This made the completion of the film faster. Dayal feels that Naveen Krishna has the ability of strengthening the script and taking the dialogues to another level.

Naveen Krishna’s father, Srinivasamurthy, also plays a part in Yogaraja.
