AUDIO: Numerous programs lined up in UAE for Independence Day

Sri Lankan Ambassador to the UAE, Sarath Wijesinghe says that several special programs will be organized in the United Arab Emirates coinciding with Sri Lanka’s Independence Day.
He stated that the intention is to inform the people of that country of Sri Lanka’s tourism industry through these programs.
While the Indipendence Day will be traditionally celebrated on February 04 an immense gathering will organized in the afternoon at Dubai preceded by Youth Affairs and Skill Development Minister Dallus Alahapperuma, speaking to Ada Derana Mr. Wijesinghe said.
He further added that on the 05th a concert will be held while the following day all the diplomats and the business community will be informed of the country’s future prospects on a diplomatic level.
The purpose of these activities is to develop the tourism industry, youth affairs and job opportunities amongst others, the Ambassador pointed out.
